Can Modern Psychology Contribute To Happiness?

Positive Psychology is a relatively new branch of psychology pioneered by  Martin Seligman – former president of the American Psychological Association. This sub-domain has significantly contributed to the science of psychology by shifting the focus from reactive to preventive intervention; from solving a problem to enriching people’s lives.

In the following 23-min. TED Talk, professor Seligman introduces Positive Psychology and talks extensively about concepts like “flow” and “meaning” as powerful contributors to happiness.
